There comes a time when you need to reinstall Windows after it has reached it's half life and no longer wants to work properly. Do not be dismayed it is an inevitable thing that happens and chances are we will all have to do it time and time again into the future as well.

Part of what slows us down with reinstalling is getting all our programs, drivers, and settings configured back to the way we like them, it can be a daunting task that can take hours to complete. For me it takes someplace around 3 months to get everything back to the way it was and typically I have to reinstall again once I get it back to that benchmark.

The thing with me is that I only use Firefox and I never take a look at how poorly Internet Explorer or Safari render my page. Just over the weekend I hit the wrong button on Firefox to "Open as IEtab" and I got to see how amazingly hideous my site looked through the eyes of a Internet Explorer 7 using crowd. Once I seen how badly it was rendered I then switched to a machine that had IE6 on it to see how that was rendered.
