Burn CD/DVD for Free With ImgBurn

ImgBurn

ImgBurn

Today I will be introducing you all to a program that you might not have heard about, this program is called ImgBurn. Some of you might be familiar with DVD Decrypter, supposing you are, this program is from the same programmer, only difference is that the DVD Decrypting stuff has been removed and a really excellent burning program remains.

If you have ever searched around to find a program to burn some sort of image file such as BIN, CUE, DI, DVD, GI, IMG, ISO, MDS, NRG or PDI you know that it can be a hassle. Burning an image or any other file becomes more of a problem when you are using a computer that does not have Nero or some other commercially accepted burning solution installed. Let us also face the facts that the Windows burning utility just does not provide any options for burning anything other than just plain files.

So what are you to do? Well the answer is simple, give ImgBurn a try, the interface is clean and friendly. ImgBurn also provides an intuitive design but also has more advanced options available when you need them.

Corrupt SUPERBLOCK????

The following is my interpretation of how to repair a bad SUPERBLOCK

WTF is a corrupt superblock one might ask?

Let me answer this in laymans terms.

It is when you go to reboot your fucking server and that motherfucker decides to take a shit on you and make the next 3 hours of your life a living fucking hell.

What do you do to prevent a bad SUPERBLOCK?

What you need to do first off is hope and pray that that god damned hard drive unmounts cleanly otherwise you will be in a load of shit.

How do you repair a bad SUPERBLOCK ?

Well I will be damned if I know, wish someone would tell me an easy way to do that and maybe I will post it with some nice 3×5 flash cards with little pictures and numbers on them fuckers.

Here are the steps that I took to get the job done

#1) Swear loudly about the problem while searching google

#2) Swear some more while looking for boot/recovery disk

#3) Place boot/recovery disk into computer while swearing some more

#4) Take a break from swearing and get a drink

#5) Boot computer into recovery environment and format the boot partition to ext2

#6) Reboot the computer and select recover installed system

#7) Allow system to install outdated kernel

#8) Reboot system again

#9) run command  “yum update -y” R

#10) Reboot for the last time.

At this point everything should be working, but since this happens to me on my server that I host this page on I don’t think that you will be able to get to this when it happens again.
