Much like some of the population I get a template of theme from someplace and then spend the next few days, weeks, months, or years hacking away at it. The thing with me is that I only use Firefox and I never take a look at how poorly Internet Explorer or Safari render my page. Just over the weekend I hit the wrong button on Firefox to “Open as IEtab” and I got to see how amazingly hideous my site looked through the eyes of a Internet Explorer 7 using crowd. Once I seen how badly it was rendered I then switched to a machine that had IE6 on it to see how that was rendered.

Well to my surprise (not really) I noticed that IE6 rendered things even worse than in IE7. The only difference in the way that it appeared is that IE6 apparently did not know how to handle .PNG files in my header so it then displays them with a whitish background that does not even resemble the way that this site is supposed to look like.
