Songbird 1.1.1 Released

Apparently it was released like a week or so ago, but it’s news to people that didn’t know that yet. For some reason the Songbird engine doesn’t auto update like all the other Mozilla releases so you will have to do this on your own but you can always download Songbird and install it with no issue. The upgrade process should be common to all who regularly make certain that they are using the newest software.

Some of the better features that I had hoped for are kind of… well they are missing. The additions that did make it into the relase can be found in the release notes or shortly as follows.

Slow Going With Updates

So it’s been awhile since I posted any updates but it’s okay I didn’t really have anything to say anyway. I updated the wordpress theme in the meantime and got forms working properly, got an API key for akismet, and updated wordpress to 2.7.1 to find that it did not work with my theme, and well…. since I didn’t want to update the theme for compatibility I just rolled back to 2.7 for the meantime. So that’s about it, this semester is going well and I am thankful that I am almost done with school for the rest of my life.
