Okay first off I do understand that postsecret is a community project that doesn’t get too much funding from the website alone. Understandable as no one wants to sit there and look at adds all day long, where the writer might not be making any $$$ from the website he is making $$$ from the books that are being sold with secrets in them. Now I am not against making money, or the site at all. I am however against having to log into facebook to see a continuation of secrets for the week.
Every Sunday I check to see what postsecret has to offer to me, and typically I am fairly impressed by what I find. There have been times where I have been left wanting more. The more that I could get by signing up for facebook that I feel is a complete mess. For the love of god don’t make me sign up for more than I want to just so you can get some recognition at some facebook site. I have been a reader long enough and feel that some respect must go back to the community. I post links, I tell people about it verbally, I love the site.
Postsecret, I do really like the site but as far as facebook goes, don’t make your readers go to another site to get some content that could have gone on your main site to make it more attractive.
Just one more thing for you men and women at postsecret. I know that bandwidth creates problems but since you have a blogspot account you could go ahead and make some sort of archive so we, the reader, can go back through ones that we might have missed to catch up to current. I know that might be a lot to ask for but for the love of god already…. just do it to make up for this facebook mess.
