Okay so starts the summer blockbuster hooplah where everyone kind of expects there to be a new movie out every single week for them to watch and Hollywood loves to make money so they will keep shoveling some of this crap out the door before it’s even done being filmed if they didn’t think anyone would notice.
Iron Man is an exception to this, it appears that they took their time and put plenty of effort into delivering a comic book movie that wasn’t over done or terrible, such as what you might find in Ultra Violet, Dare Devil, Ghost Rider, and all the Batman movies in the 90′s.
Iron Man with the lead of Robert Downey Jr is quite amazing, he (Downey) plays Tony Stark to such a believable level that I could actually see him as the character. The casting for the movies I think was a good part of the credibility of the entire movie, with the surprise appearance of Samuel L Jackson it certainly helped to get things going with a sequel of sorts.
Honestly I found the movie to be rather well done and thoroughly enjoyed all the computer animation scenes as they blended right in. The only downsides to the entire movie is that I feel it was a little too short to tell the entire story and could have gone on into an epic if done properly and it could have used some more action so I didn’t have to leave the theater wanting for more.
All in all though I will give this movie a 8 on my scale of 1 to 10. A very good watch, so if you haven’t seen it yet, you had better get on the ball and check it out.
