Fall ’07 Semester

So here is an update on a personal note. This semester so far has sucked, I learned more about Murphy’s law than I care to ever have known.

Luckily classes are over in about 3 more weeks, so I should be okay when everything is said and done. My grades this semester are far from what I had last semester. I think I will have an overall of a 2.7 or so, but I just don’t know yet.

I am close to failing my math class by just 2 or 3 points and I have already taken this class once before, so there shouldn’t be any reason that I shouldn’t be able to pass it this time. My teacher is actually good this semester and I really like her, I try my hardest but I can’t find all the time to get the homework done, it’s like I fell behind at something that I didn’t understand and now I am too far behind to be able to really get anything done at all. I would like to know what my overall grade for this class is. My database class is going okay I suppose, I bombed the hell out of the last test with a 61%, overall that wasn’t too bad since I didn’t have to book with me and it was an open book open notes test. I know that’s pretty lame but I don’t think that I did all that terrible all things considered.

Regardless Stumble is a great way to find interesting web pages that are scattered here and there throughout the internet, but does anyone really know anything else about who started stumble and who owns it now.

Well I can shed some light on who owns SU now. That someone that owns SU now is EBAY, go figure? eBay acquired StumbleUpon in May of 2007 for $75,000,000 to much the dismay of Stumble users who didn’t want to see their cherished social networking and internet exploration site undergo any massive changes. There have been minimal changes to the way things work from what I have seen. The good is that we don’t have to get forced into eBay auction sites, the down side is that weather we know it or not we are looking at some sponsored content at least once a day (at least). The other new features are the so called sponsors.
